frustrating bids and floorball

Second cg retreat thingy today at WEFC [very happy that have found a 45-minute bus direct to there from my house (ok, actually parkway lah, but close enough) - which means that the woodlands and surrounding ulu area people have no more excuse to say that the east in general and my house in particular is too far for them to travel. Now all that is left is for me to find a similar bus to the west as well, so that i won't be stuck with constantly having to make long and boring trods to these far away areas...]

We had a fulfilling time today, i think that Ade Fam, Mei Si and myself were at least a leetle bit unsure of what to expect from today, but once again, the Lord has been gracious in blessing us over the course of this day, especially in light of the slight reshuffle and multiplication in the thursday cgs (boggled, ftp, and now fourth place?)

Never realised that my mouth is so big that it can fit three whole inch-long marshmallows on either side, with enough room to mumble some bunny phrase (i forget). But after looking into what marshmallows are all about, i may never want to eat another one again (not that the six today didn't put me off quite a bit as it was)

Don't other people know that Ouagadougou (one of my all-time favourite place names btw...) is the capital of Burkina Faso?

cgling this sem promises to be quite different from last sem, but the assured guidance of the Lord through it all remains unchanged =) Also, it's great to have such supportive cgms around...

Lots more Christmas chocs at home longing to be consumed, from now on, any fairly large gathering you see me attending will also see me with chocs for all (nuts not included though =p)

Haven't played floorball since acjc pe (then known under the moniker of street bandy - one of the rare things i enjoyed doing during pe then...), and something tells me that the intense lower backaches that i always got the next morning then will greet me again when i wake up in the morning later today... That being said, it was loads of fun, and is one of the things that will make me not mind taking more 45-minute buses to WEFC for cf stuff...

Bidding has not gone on as smoothly as i would have liked, now have to deal with my first-ever two-exams-in-one-day day, group project work as well as a wretched 8am class... (It also explains why i am typing this at such an hour...) But as others have pointed out and as i have realised, i am very fussy when it comes to module selection, and eventually (i.e. now), something's gotta give... Well, at least my goal of no May modules appears to be all but met...

Oh, and sep came in positive, but that means that there's loads of stuff to do before the deadline for submission of stuff approaches, thankfully the tentative deadline was extended by a week, so things are not that bad as i thought that they might have been...

Many packed days lie ahead...
